We're having a garage sale and I'm chatting with a lady who walked by pushing a stroller with her baby. My 4 yo comes out and starts bopping around while this lady and I are chatting. The lady's baby starts to cry. The lady turns to leave. And then dd says loudly to me, "WOW! That was the scariest baby I've ever seen!"
A little while later another lady with a 2 yo is standing there and my same dd comes up to him and starts chatting. The 2 yo says something to her. She look at me totally astonished, "He can talk!" We fostered a little 2 yo boy this year for 10 months and he couldn't talk yet so that's where that came from.
